Milestones:
- Has a total of 8 teeth (4 Upper and 4 Lower)
- He is crawling and chasing us all over the house
- Able to stand up by himself with support and cruise a little
- He can Hi-Five and Wave Hello/ Bye bye
- Tyler can imitate sounds that we make such as clicking his tongue, or copying my cough or words I say.
- Loves to bounce his Green Ball and chase after.
- He starts to bounce other "non-bouncable" stuffs too. i.e. TV controller, rubber duckie, books, etc.
- Able to chew bigger pieces of food we give him from our table.
- He can feed himself snacks with pincer grip expertly now!
Mealtime:
- Feeding formula about 3 times a day.
- About 8oz in the morning when he wakes up (Holds his own bottle then sarong for the balance 2 oz or so)
- Tea time about 5 to 7oz depending on his mood
- Bedtime milk around 5 to 6oz
- Daily intake of up to 20oz.
- Takes semi solids everyday for lunch at 11am and 5pm dinner.
- 10 tbsp of porridge -One small rice bowl.
- 1oz of fruits after each meal to aid his poo poo
- Sits in high chair for meals.
- Takes about 15 to 30minutes each meal. Because he has learnt his Mommy's childhood trait of keeping food in mouth! SIGH!!
- Still refuse to drink much water~ ( I spoon feed, syringe feed or cup feed) except when it's very HOT and in a milk bottle. And ya, I have to carry him while feeding water too! -_-"
Sleep:
- Takes 2 naps a day. At 12am for an hour half and 3pm for an hour half to 2 hours
- Sleeping time is before 9pm.
- Sleeps in his cot for naps.
- Halfway thru night time sleep, he will cry to be carried into the room with us.
- He's able to last longer at night in his cot now!! I'm very happy... He now makes noise between 4 to 6am instead of 12 to 1am. I'm hoping he's getting independent with his sleep soon!
- Still he will stir and whine a couple a night wants to pat pat.
- Still needs soother and Mr Bunny during all sleep.
At 9 Month:
He still has problems with hard poo poo. But it's getting better after I start giving him fruits.
Tyler is even more chatty than ever before!! Once he's awake he can talk talk talk talk talk until his sleeping time.
I love it when he copies what I say. The other day, he actually said FLOWER after me! hahaha... My dad's teaching him some words like DUCK and he says it well...
He can associate words with things or actions too. He cries when I called his name Sternly. Understands the word "NO". Names of some of his toys, etc.
He gets very bored with his walker and does his initial cries of objection each time we place him inside. He can run and manuveur it very well though! hehe!
He can crawl very expertly on different types of flooring now and trying to stand on his own. He bounce his Green ball and then crawls after it, and start bouncing again. Very cute! haha
He's pulling himself up to stand. Likes to play with the "Stirring Soup" toy while standing but he starts to cry sometimes because he doesn't know how to sit back down.
Needs to be accompanied most times. Doesn't want to be alone.
Went to Underwater World today with 阿嬤, Yan Yan 姨姨 and Mommy!
I visited the PD regarding his poo poo. He advised me to give him less green leafy vegetables, carrot, banana, etc. I think Ty's condition is slightly better, be he still needs me to help him if his poo poo is very hard. Other than that, Ty is healthy and happy!! =)
