Was woken up by a call at 9am this morning~ But i didn't pick up the call in time... So i laze around a little bit (30mins) before calling back... It was Florence asking me out for Lunch! She suggested Shin Taro at Four Seasons... Wooo~ How can i say no to Gourmet food? hehe... So we agreed to meet at 11.30am. Here's what we had... I must say, the food was... Fabulous! =)
My Ice-Lemon Tea
I thought it was really cool... Check out the Tea Ice cubes
The point is, i can blend the taste to my own liking by adding more english tea, lemon concentrate & syrup...
Wonderful!
Plain but impressive Zensai...
Broiled Chicken with Radish
Seafood Salad
Eel Maki wrapped with Avocado~
Need i say more??
Soft-shell crab Maki
Yes! I love soft-shell crab! Don't stop me!!
Teapot Soup with Scallop
Yaki Beef
It has to be well done! ARGH~ Nevertheless... still taste good!
Then we head over to Peninsular Hotel Shopping arcade where Florence introduced me to several of the shop owners... And I loved the shops! The accessories, furnishings, jewellery, paintings, etc, etc... Exquisite~! Anyway, we met Rudy who designed her own semi-precious stones jewellery. She showed me stuffs made out of elephant hair... VERY NICE!!
There's another impressive shop. The owner's husband is a painter/artist, that's why her shop is filled with paintings by husband... I love the style of the shop... lotsa knick knacks... messy yet classy~ I also got to see the REAL painting of her... She's a real beauty! Even now, at the age of 71, she looks fantastic... Flawless skin, full head of hair, nice posture and etiquette! I wanna be like her when i grow old! heehee~
This is a model made by her husband.
It's a mini replica of her husband's study at home while he was painting her...
Isn't it romantic? To enhance the level of romance, when you on the light in the "room",
the melody of Somewhere Over the Rainbow starts playing...
Aww~ I know...
Here's the Desk i fell in love with in the shop...
Can i have one? Pleassseee?? hee~ (SOLD OUT)
I also had my Mani & Pedi today... Not impressed but good enough... Cost me less than SGD20 for both services. The manicurist used Kaffir Lime to polish my fingers and toes... smells nice, kills bacterial and also has positive effects on nail, skin and hair. But the most surprising thing she did to help accelerate the drying process was......... USING HAIR DRYER! She practically kneeled in front of me for 20 minutes blow drying my nails!! Well, i still wasn't completely dry when i left the spa, so i sorta ruined a couple of nails.
Dinner at Hachi~ YES! Japanese Food again~
Teppanyaki~
Tiki had the King Prawn Teppanyaki Set with Sake
While I had Gyoza, Prawn Tempura & Yaki Soba
