Received news about the Final results for my degree course...
Although I should've put in much more effort than I did, I managed to score better than I expected!
But not as good as I initially planned it to be...
Well, there goes to show the effect of My Motto again!
"Aim High And You Won't Fall Too Far Behind"
Goal: First Class Honours
Actual: Second Upper Class Honours
Tiki said he thinks I could've achieved First Class if I put in a bit more time and effort in my assignments... But I told him, he was distracting me with TV and Sleep... haha~ Furthermore, he was preparing to leave and then stay in Bangkok and Bao bao was giving me even more stress during my Second semester in school! Far too many changes~ I was constantly tired, hungry and angry!!
Anyhow, excuses, excuses, excuses...
The outcome is good enough for me! What more can I ask for?
And of cos, Tiki happy for me too!
I told Tiki, luckily I didn't get First Class, if not, I would've requested for a Chanel 2.55! *bleah*
I'm thinking of Graduation Ceremony already... There'll be an addition member in the family attending! How exciting! =)

Come play with me...
Mich arrived on Thursday morning! I was so excited when I arrived at the airport at 8.30am... But emotions eventually dampened after anticipating for near to an hour...Until I saw her then everything was good! hehe...
We had plenty of time to do shopping for the day... First things first, we headed back to my house to settle herself down and her luggage (full of MY stuffs)... heehee... She's one of my personal shopper cum consignment from Singapore... *hugs* SL got some Nike rompers for Bao bao! I couldn't stop smiling... They're so small and kawaiiiiiii~~ Hehehe... I was imagining a little athelete~ *hugs*
Nike Rompers from SL
Platinum Mall was the itinerary for the day... Caught up with Roy (Esther's "brother") over lunch, since he was in town to replenish stocks for his shop. It was pleasant catching up with him after such a long long time. He shared his recent experience of becoming a Father and how they "struggled" through first month with little help. Hope we don't have to wait another few years before crossing paths again.
Mich and I started shopping at about 1pm. As usual I bought at least 10 pieces of items. Mich did well too... If I didn't recall wrongly, this is the first time I've seen her bought so many items at one go! hehe... "Good Buy, Must Buy!!" Boy was I stretched by the end of the day... my feet was so sore! But it was all worth it...
Tiki and me brought Mich to Secret Garden for dinner... We had some Thai cuisine and although we were all so Full, I made her try my favourite Crepe Cake... I think she likes it too... hee~ We end the day by just chilling at home...
Friday, we decided to leave home at 10.30 in the morning. Mich was lucky enough to meet the 3 小小個兒s hanging around the garage area... Well, surprise surprise, not only did the "Alpha" schnauzer not bark at me, he was actually trying to get my full attention to stroke him! (I think it was owing to the last time I told him very sternly "NO!") haha... I could tell "Godzilla" isn't so happy about me sharing, so he kept nudging my leg... I have all 3 of them infront of me demanding some massage! Lovely!
As per Mich's request, I brought her to K-village for Curry Omelette Rice... We tried the creamy chicken omu rice and added curry mushroom. My verdict is, that it's not as delicious as the mushroom omu rice I usually order. But Mich seemed happy enough! hehe... You can tell by the empty plate... =)
Manicure and pedicure next~ There's this sweet little nail salon, looking so fairy-ly pink! The service was good as well as the skills. I reckon that generally the manicurists here are much more qualified than those I've experienced in Singapore or any other places I've tried... Free Hot Cocoa too! hee~ I'm currently obsessed with cherry or strawberry design, so I did a similar design as the last.
Then I went back home to prepare for the Cocktail party held by BGC partners for their Thai traders. This was the first time I've set foot in a bar-nightlife in Bangkok. Adrena was going to be there (she looks GREAT!)... and a couple of other market ppl whom I haven't seen for a long time. Anyway, I was quite startled by one of them... *zip* It was held at Hyde & Seek. Very hip and happening place. Reminded me of the old Balaclava in Singapore where I used to hangout almost everynight (Memories~)... Although BGC booked the whole indoor area, I checked out some of the patrons outdoor... Many gorgeous people around... Food was really good too! I had a good time! And this was also the first time we arrived home so late (over 11pm) in Bangkok.
On Saturday, we went Dim Sum at China House with Mich, Adrena and Thniah... I really like that place... So pretty with so many delectables~ It's nice to hangout for tea with so many people once awhile... =)
Mich stoning at Home
(too full to move?)
We sent Adrena back to her hotel and then Mich to the airport... I must say again that her stay is far too short... There're still so many things to do and eat!! hehe~
I'll be waiting for YOUR next visit! Yes, YOU!! Come play with me!! =)

Tiki's out for Dinner
Tiki's has some boring company function today, so I had to settle my own dinner...
I'm having some leftover soy sauce chicken and vegetables. These are the food we couldn't finish last night at the HK restaurant in K-Village...
I usually don't take leftovers, but the chicken is really nice and you can't get it anywhere else in Bangkok, so why not? hehe...
Fried an egg (fully-boringly-cooked!) and made some brown rice to go with everything else...
Watching Desperate Housewives (still stuck in Season 1) while eating...
Looking forward to seeing Michelle tomorrow! Can't wait to have fun with my bestie!

Bao Bao at 26 weeks!
Time is speeding away...
In another 2 weeks time, 2nd trimester will officially be over...
Let's talk about Tiki first... He's getting more and more excited over bao bao. You can tell by the tone of enthusiasm in his voice and his comical facial expression! He is putting in effort to bond with bao bao...And I can't help pushing him away sometimes cos it tickles... hehe~ I think he's going to be a Great Dad!!
My Mummy has been reminding me what to prepare for bao bao's arrival... I think she has at least repeated herself 5 times for each item... and then I get cranky~ That's my Mum! hehe... I think she's really getting excited about bao bao too~
As for myself, still enjoying my honeymoon with bao bao... (Other than the backaches, sore knees and the tossing and turning at night...) Speaking of which, I start having trouble getting back to sleep after my midnightly piss... Perhaps it's due to bao bao's movement, my body temperature and sleeping position. I should probably get a support pillow for my back and bump soon... Also, anxiety is sort of kicking in with regards to health issues, coping issues, birth issues, confinement lady issues, crowd issues, etc... Just a lil worried over a lil of everything... I think it's natural to feel this way as I've read... I'll try to push the thoughts aside... I'm still eating and drinking (milk, juice and water) alot... tea and decaf coffee once in awhile... My current weight is coming to 67kg, 13kg gain from pregnancy.
Bao bao's about the same... Only stronger movements and getting bigger... You can literally see my tummy "POP" all of a sudden! Its funny how he moves around in my tummy and I wonder what he's doing in there all the time... Was it his head, hand or leg causing my tummy to jump? What is he current position? When other people try to feel his movement, he refuses to budge... even towards Tiki... He can be really active one minute and when I tell Tiki to feel, he stops immediately... hehe...
Exclusively mine!! =)

Back In Bangkok
It's quite odd that when nothing happens, Nothing actually happens. But when something happens, Everything happens... *confused?? well, I am too*
What I'm referring to is the fact that I was actually only expecting one guest (Michelle), this week from Singapore... Then a few weeks ago, I was told that Adrena will be coming over this week too! Then another news from Tiki that one of his colleagues will be here as well during the same days as Michelle and Adrena... And then today, I got a message on FB from a friend that he'll be arrving this afternoon... What a coincidence! I'll probably catch up with my friend over dinner on Wednesday... Real Bizarre!!
Yesterday, I went for a haircut... Not really a haircut, but just my Fringe... I was sick of the way my fringe being so unruly and disturbing I had to rid of it. So I (backside itchy) went to this cheap cheap salon next to a food court and they start washing and blow-drying my hair... Then I told the lady to cut my fringe... She practically took less than 2 minutes (Fastest I've seen) to crop away my hair... Unbalanced of cos!! Then she trim again AND again, which resulted in me looking like a silly fat bird with super short fringe (just below my brows, when i told her I want below my eyes)... I know it's not that awful, I just need a little time for the softer look... Meantime, some light styling will do the trick...
I had Thai lesson after my haircut, so Khruu Mam couldn't stop laughing at me!! She say I look like I'm 17 years old!! Ya, right! 生氣!!!
For 2 nights straight I've dreamt that I am preparing to go partying with my girlfriends... I felt happy in my dream to be able to hang out with them! Well, it'll never be the same again... I'm not complaining, but it's just going to be different!
Today, I had craving for dim sum again. So Tiki and me decided to check out the restaurant in Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The name of the restaurant is The China House. It's a very pretty restaurant with very Shanghainese decor. Food was good... I ate so much, I feel so bloated right now...

Vacation at Hua Hin 2010
We had a wonderful time at Hua Hin... Relaxing and enjoying each other's company...
At least we went for a vacation JUST THE 2 OF US before the arrival of Bao bao... I was wondering how different life would be when he arrives... I suppose it'll be VERY VERY VERY different!
Weather was quite a wet blanket cos it's rainy season and it rained almost every late afternoon, ruining my chance of tanning and more swimming... Tiki came down with a lil bit of something during the beginning of the trip tho... So he didn't get much water action and was tired most times... I was a lil disappointed about it but then again it's also his chance to relax and recuperate~ Luckily, he felt better! =)
The Asara resort was beautiful! Fully equipped with fantastic service, environment, spa and food! I also love the fact that it has direct access to the beach, which has a nice lagoon next to it...
Didn't get to soak in the sea cos Tiki just read an article about untreated water being returned to the sea in Thailand... So, I didn't get into it as a precaution.
And Yes, we are planning to go back there again...

Happy Birthday Singapore!
Today marks the 45th year of Independence for my beloved country... Perhaps I'll catch a glimpse of the NDP online later on....
It was Bestie's 2#th Birthday yesterday... I sent her some cupcakes and flowers on Saturday because they don't deliver on Sundays. Apparently, she was napping when the gift arrived and she was really surprised!! Good to hear that! hehe... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHELLE!!
Tiki and I went to Central Chidlom for Food and grocery shopping... We bought some salad, grilled kurobuta and Tiki made Blackbean Soup for dinner! Yum Yum~ He actually fried the beans before putting them into the pot... What is the logic? I dunno... hehe~
On the same night, I decided to remove dressing and wash my wound by myself... Much of it is healed and it doesn't hurt so bad anymore... The flesh that got sliced off feels very hard and dead now although it's sewed back on. But there's a tiny part where the flesh is a little bit sticking out and that's the part where it still hurts a little bit... I think i got to live with the scar for the rest of my life... MY PRETTY FINGER!!! Then I thought, no matter how nice the rings I wear, it's going to draw attention to my injury... =(
We went to Evergreen Hotel for 點心 on Sunday... I didn't remember to take the pics of most of the dishes! haha... I'm getting very forgetful or maybe I was just too hungry!! hehe...
Tiki didn't turn on his Computer on Sunday... He watched TV and hang around with me the whole day... It was nice and I really liked that! hehe... =)

Happy Meal!!
I am so glad that I went out for dinner alone tonight... I was a little resistant at first to be walking around alone in the dark...
So I head on to the little restaurant in Soi 5... Now, this is the 2nd visit to this restaurant (the 1st time was with Tiki, 2days ago for lunch). I realised today, the name of the restaurant is called Giggle! Justification: The owner wants his patrons to Giggle after every visit... And boy, I was giggling each time I tasted the food! For an eatery like this, I consider the quality of the food 4-star and the service 5!
Since I was pretty early (about 6.45pm), I was the only one in Giggle for dinner... Well, eventually people started coming in... The owner (I forgot to ask his name) is a man in his 50s who speaks perfect English. Anyway, there were a couple of mosquitoes around my table, so I was flailing my hand a lil... He noticed immediately and showed up with an electric zapper! Nice~ hehe! Then we started to talk a little about the area where I stay. He advised me about the safety at night cos that was my concern at that moment...
Food arrived... The drumlets were perfectly battered and fried while the herbal fried rice was aromatic and not oily at all... He came over to check if the food was okay... and I must say again, it was Fantastic!
Since I have alot of time in my hands, I decided to have a cuppa after dinner... Decaf, of cos! hehe... It the best cup of decaf coffee I've had!! So owner explained to me how it was made... He's indeed a coffee connoisseur... He told me why he's chosen Crema e Aroma coffee bean by Lavazza over the other brands... At least we both agree that illy's are too sour and after today, I think Lavazza's coffee suits me~ I totally enjoyed my dinner tonight! I'll be sure to go back there soon enough!
A Couple of other Thai Food in Thailand! =)
Secret Garden last weekend
Tomorrow is shopping day!! Kudos to that!! hehe~

Comes with Clear Soup
A Couple of other Thai Food in Thailand! =)
My Lunch on Wednesday
Carbonara with Ham and Mushroom :: Chicken Chop
Secret Garden last weekend
Pandan Rice :: Tom Yum Goong
Stir-fried Morning Glory :: Omelette with Mince Pork
Tiki got back about 30 minutes ago... He's in the room frowning... He's pissed at me now for complaining something about him... haha~ I'm going to go Sayang him now... ;)
Tomorrow is shopping day!! Kudos to that!! hehe~
Stitches OUT!
I finally asked Dr Apichai today... "How many were there?" (To prep myself for the removal, of cos!)
And there were SIX!!
He removed a small blade for cutting the thread and told me not to move cos the blade is REALLY sharp~! I kept asking if it was gonna hurt... And he said, "there'll just be some stinging..."
So, off he went to remove the 1st one... "Some Stinging" MY ASS!!!! It hurt like a million needles poking onto the same spot! My tears almost squirted out on autopilot!! I had to push them back in by shutting my eyes, whole body muscle tensed up, cold sweat spilling out and POOR POOR Tiki... I'm pretty sure he was in pain also... cos I was squeezing his right hand with mine really really really hard... Sorry~! ;) I have to endure this SIX times!!~ I was whining alot~ hahaha~
I'm surprise he's so brave this time, he was looking at my wound the whole time during the process... (when the procedure was over, I asked him about it. he said, "because there wasn't any blood anymore!!")
I can hardly bend my ring finger now cos of the trauma, the swelling and the dressing before... This whole incident has been really awful... I'll try very very hard not to cut myself ever again!
I am not going to touch water until tomorrow... Just in case it STINGS again...
So last night and tonight Tiki has got dinner appointment! 2 consecutive nights!! It's really not fun to eat dinner alone... As much as I hated it, I had to live with the fact that he has to do what he has to do... Last night, I bought back 2 packs of Fried Bee Hoon with Chicken from Thai Noodle shop downstairs and I polished them off while watching Desperate Housewives Season 1! haha... I've discovered that it's really quite a nice drama to watch... Now I just have to keep up to Season 6!
I'll probably head down to a little restaurant at Soi 5 for dinner tonight... The owners are really friendly and they speak perfect English! =)
Oh yah! We've booked a trip to Hua Hin for a couple of days next week, since Tiki has got 2 days off from work! We were deciding between Hua Hin, Bali (due to my endless cravings for Babi Guling) or perhaps just the Banyan Tree in Bangkok, which is just 20mins walk away from our place... haha...
Hua Hin will be about 3hours ride from Bangkok by car...
This should be the last holiday we'll have before Bao Bao arrives! I AM SO EXCITED!!! I'm looking forward to the Sun, the Sand, the Sea, the Suite, the Sightseeing, the Food, the Spa, the Self-Indulgence, etc, etc, etc... YEAH YEAH YEAH!!

Check out the dried blood in my nail!
YUCKS!
